The BMW Alpina B7 starts life as a 750i with 445-horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque coming from its 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. To pull out more power for the B7, Alpina upgrades the intercooler, turbos, pistons and cooling system to bump power to 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. To handle the extra torque, Alpina upgraded the internals of the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which routes power to all four wheels. The Alpina B7 can hit 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 192 mph. To improve handling, the B7 features specific suspension geometry and upgraded tuning for air springs and adaptive dampers.
