This is truly a one of a kind custom build! You will never see another 1968 Mustang built like this one!
This 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe was originally a base 302 (2 barrel) automatic car. This Mustang has received numerous upgrades and enhancements.
The engine in it now is a 5.0 Fuel Injected engine (out of a 1989 Mustang).
The motor was completely rebuilt and upgraded with a larger BBM 70 mm throttle body, Ford Racing Chromed valve covers, Vibrant cold air induction system, upgraded Edelbrock high rise intake and an upgraded Edelbrock Performer RPM II upper intake.
The exhaust headers were upgraded to a high polished ceramic coated Hooker Headers.
This Mustang's transmission was upgraded to a T5 Transmission (5 speed manual transmission). The original cable style clutch was replaced with an upgraded hydraulic clutch and is much easier to shift and is all new.
The cooling system was also upgraded. The radiator is now a heavy duty three core aluminum radiator with an electric fan that is connected to a rheostat to come on and off automatically.
The overflow tank is upgraded to a matching aluminum style with matching upgraded caps.

The rear end was upgraded to a heavy duty "Posi" rear with 3.55 axle ratio (great all around driving gear and very good on gas).
The rear brakes are heavy duty drum brakes (all components are new).
The front brakes were upgraded to a power disc brake set up. All brake components are new and operate very nicely.
This 1968 Mustang's suspension was lowered 1" (correct lowering springs) in the front, and rear was also lowered 1" to match a nice clean stance.
The high polish chromed Eagle 1 alloy wheels complete the stance with new Yokohama 225-50ZR-16 on the front and matching Yokohama 245-50ZR-16 on the rear.
This Mustang's exterior received many enhancements: A beautiful Ford "Vermillion Red" base coat/ clear coat paint finish looks great. The front grille has the upgraded "G.T." look with built in driving lights.
The headlights are a Halogen clear white upgrade with L.E.D. Halo surrounding the sealed beam (the halo ring light comes on with the parking light switch).

The hood is a custom made fiberglass air induction hood (needed to clear the upgraded Edelbrock Intake). The front hood hinges are upgraded to a polished ally style (with small built in shocks).
Both front and rear bumpers are new triple plated chrome. The white pinstripe and lower white G.T. 5.0 is a decal and can be removed.
The interior received several tasteful upgrades too. The dash face has upgraded polished aluminum face package. The gauges are rebuilt and have upgraded white faces. A factory correct (Scott Drake) analog clock was added to the center of the console.
The seats are a new total custom upgrade. Both front and rear seating sections feature special consoles and bucket seats for both front and rear.
The Hurst shifter and white shifter knob all match the interior and complete the look. A custom stereo was also installed along with speakers in the front toe panels and two 6 X 9 speakers in the rear parcel shelf.
