The all-new 2014 Fiat 500L, which is slated to hit dealership lots in Canada next month, promises to pack quite the punch.
According to the company, the 2014 Fiat 500L will offer more interior space – a 42 per cent increase, to be exact – with comfortable seating for five people, engaging driving dynamics and a 160-hp 1.4L MultiAir Turbo engine mated to a six-speed transmission.
“The all-new Fiat 500L expands the reach of the Fiat brand in North America, appealing to customers who like the contemporary Italian style of the Fiat 500 but need more space and functionality to match their lifestyle needs,” said Jason Stoicevich, head of Fiat Brand North America, Chrysler Group LLC, in a statement.
The company added that consumers interested in taking the 2014 Fiat 500L for a test drive will get the chance to get behind the wheel of four different models.
Fiat 500L Pop
Designed for drivers who put a premium on Italian style, adaptability, efficiency and personalization options, the 2014 Fiat 500L Pop will be available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $19,995. It will feature a 1.4L MultiAir Turbo engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission, 16-inch chrome-accented wheel covers, tire-pressure monitoring system, Uconnect 5.0 with a five-inch touch-screen display and more.
Fiat 500L Sport
Providing drivers with versatility, efficiency and an extra dash of style and comfort features, the 2014 Fiat 500L Sport will come with 17-inch aluminum wheels, deep-tint rear glass, premium leather-wrapped shift knob with chrome accent, automatic dual-zone climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio with one-year subscription, heated front seats, universal garage door opener and more. Pricing for this model will start at $22,995.
Fiat 500L Trekking
The 2014 Fiat 500L Trekking is designed for drivers who want an ideal mix of rugged styling and versatility to reflect their active lifestyle. The model will feature two-piece front and rear fascias with Grigio Chiaro wheel arch and body-side sill mouldings, Grigio Chiaro recessed licence plate area, painted instrument panel bezel, low-back bucket premium cloth seats and floor mats, and more. Pricing for the 2014 Fiat 500L Trekking will begin at $23,995.
Fiat 500L Lounge
Designed for drivers who want their new car to mirror their elegant lifestyle and to include top-of-the-line appointments and convenience features, the 2014 Fiat 500L Touring model will build on the 2014 Fiat 500L Sport model. It will include chrome body-side mouldings and mirror caps, premium heated leather front seats with power four-way lumbar adjust, Park-Sense Rear Park Assist system, ParkView Rear Back-up camera, and more. Pricing will begin at $25,995.
