It still retains all the original sheet metal the car left the Los Angeles, California plant with in 1970. The tail panel around the taillights was a NOS part and all the other chrome, bumpers, and trim are also in excellent condition. The fit, finish, and panel alignment on this Dodge is immaculate. The 1968 383 engine was completely rebuilt, 452 casting heads were used, a Mopar Performance 450"/458" Purple Shaft cam installed, Edelbrock RPM intake and a Edelbrock AVS2 650 CFM carb were installed. The 727 transmission was completely rebuilt using Redline brand clutches, TCI valve body, and a TCI 2400 RPM stall converter installed. The 8 3/4 rear end was also completely rebuilt, including a new Sure Grip unit, new 3:55 gears, along with all new bearing and seals. The dual exhaust is a complete TTI system that sounds awesome. New BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Complete new brakes, new steering parts, new suspension parts including PST 1.03 torsion bars along with a complete new fuel system from tank to lines was installed during the restoration. IT is equipped with power steering and power disc brake options.
